Moudy Gallery

The Moudy Gallery is situated within the Art Department building and primarily serves as a teaching gallery hosting a variety of student exhibitions and a select number of exhibitions by faculty and other professional artists. During Family Weekend, the Moudy Gallery will showcase a print and sculpture exhibit, “Iamuslima: Baseera Khan.” For more information, please visit theartgalleries.tcu.edu.

 

Fort Worth Contemporary Arts

Fort Worth Contemporary Arts was established as a satellite space in 2008 to offer a platform for innovative contemporary art from an international context. Its regular changing exhibition program reflects significant developments in art and often features artists’ work that has never been shown in Texas before or is being made on-site during a residency period. During Family Weekend, FWCA will showcase a video installation featuring the work of two United Kingdom artists, “Finding Fanon: Larry Achiampong & David Blandy.” For more information, please visit theartgalleries.tcu.edu.

The Sophomore Class Pinning celebrates the return to campus of the previous year’s incoming class. The purpose of the event is to recognize and celebrate the demonstrated intent of sophomores to complete their education at TCU, encourage sophomores to assume their role as rising campus student leaders, and foster among sophomores a stronger connection and deeper affinity to their class and the institution as a whole. Kappa Alpha Theta Fall Breakaway 5K Run

Join TCU Theta for our 21st annual Fall Breakaway 5K Run/Walk benefiting CASA of Tarrant County. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers are trained community members who speak on behalf of abused and neglected children in the court system. Advocates provide valuable information to the judges as to what is best for the child and also help expedite the legal process so these children will still have a chance at childhood. TCU Ring Celebration

The TCU Alumni Association invites all new class ring recipients and their families to join us in the Brown-Lupton University Union Ballroom to “ring in” the next phase of Horned Frog life!  The Celebration begins at 2:00pm followed by a reception.  Ring recipients are asked to arrive at 1:15pm to check-in.  Registration to attend the event opens in July.
